First Socialized Release
Socialized has a song on the newly released compilation V/A: (Triskaidekaphobia) 13,000 MilliSeconds.
Our friends at Rat Skin Records have compiled hundreds of 13 second songs from over 200 bands for the CD. Some of the other bands that have contributed include; Sabreteeth, To Live And Shave In L.A., Matmos, Antenna Farm, Gash, & Warning Broken Machine.
Did I mention that all of the over 200 songs on the CD are exactly 13 seconds in length?
We received the offer to place a song on the CD the night before the CD went out to be duplicated! Not a helluva lot of time to gather and sort through material. We happened to have a couple of songs on deck that were being worked on that week and as it turned out we were able to take a chunk of material and put it together.
We submitted our song, Incontitus about 2 months ago, and received copies of the CD last night. I spent the better part of the evening last night listening to the fantastic pieces that are on this compilation and enjoying how the CD was programmed to create the flow.
